Senior Legal and Administrative Officer

Mrs. Shqipe Devaja is Senior Legal and Administrative Officer at Deposit Insurance Fund of Kosovo from October 2012.Mrs Devaja has 15 years of experience on legal and corporate governance areas, among them 7 years in the field of deposit insurance. She is responsible for the legal, human resources, procurement and administration function of the DIFK. Also, from the beginning of its employment, she assists the Board and the Managing Director in organizing the meetings of the Managing Board of DIFK.

Before her engagement in DIFK, Shqipe was part of the Prishtina International Airport and Air Traffic Control Services, contributing in important processes on the development of civil aviation in Kosovo and incorporation and corporatization of PIA as a public enterprise. Among other involvements, within her position as Company Secretary and Head of Legal Office znj. Devaja has led administrative and judicial procedure for expropriation of 214 ha of the land necessary for infrastructure development and meeting licensing standards for airport and air traffic control services. She was also member of the Audit Committee of PIA.

Shqipe has finished 4 year studies in the Justice Faculty of Tirana University. She holds the title “Master of European Integration and Law” from International Institution for European Studies CIFE/IEHEI (Centre International de Formation Europѐenne /Institute Europѐen des hautes ѐtydes internationales).

She is a candidate for the certification “Project Management Professional” from PMI.
